Amsterdam City break

Lovely clean and comfortable apartment in a central location surrounded by restaurants , shops and places of interest. Saskia provides a great welcome pack so no need to rush out on arrival to buy groceries.

This location is excellent for a city central convenience, and if you want the nightlife even better. But you have to accept the associated party noise which goes on all night. Not for those wanting a good night's sleep despite the nice comfy bed.

Beautiful city with lots of bikes - pay attention to them when you cross streets

Location was great - on a private street with no vehicular traffic. Lots of restaurants within five minutes. One canal was just two minutes from our location. We rented two side-by-side apartment, so we had two of everything and lots of privacy

Taxi could not drive right up to the property, because of pedestrian-only streets. So, we had a five minute walk dragging our luggage on bumpy roads. We knew this ahead of time because we navigated the route in advance using Google street view.

Very Good

Location was really excellent. Apartment clean, and we were left some very nice things by the host. Really good communication, and good local information available. The upstairs part of the apartment was good. Apartment met expectations except for size of toilet and bathroom and small sleeping quarters.

For us the apartment felt a little cramped in the sleeping area, and bathroom/toilet. If you are a big person, this may be a problem. Because the apartment is so central, it was very noisy at night (weekend?). This may not be a problem for some people, if you are out late, but for us it was quite loud.

A spacious well maintained centrally located apartment.

The apartment is spacious and very well maintained in an excellent central location only 4 short tram stops from the main Central Train Station. The Flower Market is located at the end of the street and there are many restaurants immediately close by. The hosts provided a well stocked fridge and food cupboard with just about everything we needed for our 4 day stay. They made sure we were settled in, but were otherwise completely unobtrusive.

We have no complaints.

Clean apartment in great location

Gorgeous apartment, super clean and great location for everything. Fridge was stocked, and good toiletries. Saskia and Michiel were super helpful and easy to communicate with, great stay really comfortable.

Estupendo!

Está en pleno centro, pero sin estar en medio de la multitud, una pequeña callejuela en el flower market, un apartamento tipo duplex, muy bien distribuido, con estilo nórdico muy característico de los Holandeses, la propietaria se preocupó en todo momento que estuviéramos a gusto, de si necesitábamos algo y se encargó de la limpieza, que hacían muy en profundidad. Coincidió con el fin de semana del pride y aún así, estuvo muy tranquilo, permitiendo descansar y disfrutar. Además la propietaria tuvo la molestia de llenar la nevera con ciertos productos de necesidad básica, dejar reposiciones de café y demás artículos, así como los enceres de baño, que eran de buena marca.

El único fallo que tiene el apartamento, es que no tiene placa de cocina, por lo que no puedes cocinar, si se puede usar el horno, pero no puedes calentar un simple vaso de leche, porque no tiene placa ni microondas.

„Zentral gelegen und ideal zum Feiern.

Gleich um die Ecke viele Restaurants und auch ein Supermarkt in der Nähe. Bett im Untergeschoß, dadurch etwas ruhiger als oben. Straßenbahn fährt fast bis hin. Vieles zu Fuß erreichbar. Kleine Terrasse vor der Tür zum Hinsetzen.

Gleich um die Ecke viele Restaurants, im Pride Month ziemlich laut bis in die Nacht. Bett im Untergeschoß über schmale steile Wendeltreppe zu erreichen, mit etwas Gleichgewicht ok.

Super liebe Gastgeber, ein gefüllter Kühlschrank, saubere Wohnung, alles da, was wir brauchten! Und super zentral gelegen!

Das einzige was gestört hat, war der Lärm von der Nebenstraße (dafür können die Gastgeber ja nichts), da dort viele Bars und Restaurants sind und am Wochenende bis 4 Uhr gefeiert wird, aber perfekte Unterkunft für party people!
